About Somer

My name is Somer, I am a 26-year-old mom, born and raised in Punta Gorda, FL. For 2 years, I worked in behavioral healthcare as a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT), mostly at a residential program for adolescents (13-17) with substance abuse/behavioral/mental health issues. Currently, I am coming up on my 4 years as a Registered Behavioral Therapist (RBT) working in ABA therapy with children on the Autism spectrum! I am a relatively new mommy to an almost 2-year-old babygirl so you can rest assured I have the mommy reflexes! I am currently looking for some supplemental income during the summer months when I have no hours at work. I have my CPR/First Aid cert, experience with special needs, and even dementia care. I am quirky, fun, and bubbly-- I love to put a smile on my clients' faces with art and music therapy. I love to read, listen to music, and do arts/crafts; and I try to incorporate this into my jobs as well!
