About Sofiia

Hi dear parents, want to share a little of my life story and childcare experience with you. I am 22 years old and I come from a far beautiful country Ukraine. I moved to the US because of the war and have been living in Texas and Colorado for 2. 5 years total. My most recent job was being a field instructor for an Outdoor Education Center in Florissant, Colorado. I got to share my love for nature and knowledge about it with kids from a kindergarten to middle school age. I got to see a huge positive impact that being outside makes on kids mental and emotional health and wellbeing. This last summer I got to be an Arts and Crafts coordinator at an adventurous outdoor camp as well. Where I had a chance to lead the kids in various art and outdoor activities. Seeing 11 years old hiking 14, 000 feet mountains was the biggest joy and a prove how kids can persevere and do hard things.
