About Sofia

I have been babysitting family friends, neighbors, and my coworkers' children since I was 15, and have been babysitting my younger siblings since I was around 13. I am a summer camp counselor, and have worked with most ages 4-12 but have worked with 4-6-year-olds mainly. I also worked at an after-school program and as a swim lesson instructor during high school. My first-aid certification has expired, but I am very comfortable with basic first-aid. I love arts and crafts of any levels and especially love leading kids in crafts. I am a university student studying math, economics and environmental studies, and also enjoy tutoring kids. I have worked closely with kids with learning disabilities and enjoy helping them find new approaches to learning, because I believe learning is something that happens in different ways and at different paces for all kids. I have undergone mandated reporter training and am certified for 3 more years. In my free time, I enjoy being active, cooking, reading,
