About Sofia

Hi! I'm Sofia, an 18-year-old student at Mankato State. I'd describe myself as very adventurous and outgoing I'm always looking for new opportunities! I have two dogs and a cat of my own, I also have had many guinea pigs and I've also had two parrots. I've been fortunate to work with animals of all kinds for many years. My passion for animals runs deep because they bring so much joy and have such unique personalities. I love seeing their quirks and developing connections with them. My love for animals only continues to grow, and I'd be honored if your furry friend could be a part of my journey! A little about my experience: I worked at Rum River Vet Clinic for several years, where I gained a wealth of knowledge and valuable skills. I've learned how to recognize when a dog or cat is not acting like themselves, and I'm great at picking up on subtle cues. I also volunteered at the local animal shelter for several summers, which further strengthened my understanding and love for animals.
