Hi! My name is Sofia, and I'm an energetic and patient 24-year-old! My undergraduate degree is in Psychology, and I'm currently applying for my PsyD to become a Child Psychologist. I'm looking for a part-time position, and my rate starts at $20/hour for one child. I have worked for 4 families and have daycare experience. I am First Aid and CPR certified. My approach follows gentle parenting and the research of Dr. Mona DeLaHooke. I let children lead while guiding them so they can learn to be autonomous individuals. I enjoy imaginative play, talking through feelings, and coregulation. I also have a passion for working with anxious children, traumatized children, and neurodivergent children (Dyslexic/Autistic/ADHD/PDA, etc.).
