Hi! My name is Sofia, and I'm an energetic and patient 24-year-old! My undergraduate degree is in Psychology, and I'm saving up for my PsyD to become a Child Psychologist. My favorite age groups are infants and toddlers, but I have experience with babysitting and tutoring infants through undergraduate college students. I'm looking for a part-time position, and my rate starts at $25/hour for one child. I have worked for 3 families and have daycare experience. I am First Aid and CPR certified. My approach follows gentle parenting and the research of Dr. Mona DeLaHooke. I let children lead while guiding them so they can learn to be autonomous, independent individuals. I enjoy imaginative play, talking through feelings, and music. I also have a passion for working with anxious children, traumatized children, and neurodivergent children (Dyslexic/Autistic/ADHD/PDA, etc.).
