About Sofia

Hi! My name is Sofia and I'm a college student looking to help others out. I worked at Shady Creek as a naturalist and loved my time working with kids of all needs from across the area. I've also volunteered at nursing homes and animal shelters. CPR certified :) I'd describe my personality as nurturing, mature, calm. I like working with kids because they are sweet and unique. Every kid deserves to feel special and respected! I'm looking for a job that allows me to show my nurturing characteristics. I started working with kids when I was 17 babysitting, then all of the 23-24 school year I worked at Shady Creek Outdoor School as a teacher and entertainer. In my spare time, I like to make bracelets and hike! One thing you should know about me is I will always set and respect boundaries. My skills include: age appropriate communication and social interaction, I can tutor in many subjects, especially science, I know how to be an authority figure while maintaining a kind demeanor.
