About Skylar

I started tutoring during the pandemic, although I also participated in an after school tutoring club during college that provided tutoring services to kids from underfunded schools in New Orleans. As part of my degree program at Tulane University, I was selected to participate in a community service internship with RoboRecovery at Son of a Saint, an organization that supports K-12-aged at-risk boys. In this role, I taught middle-school-aged boys LEGO Robotics. The goal of the program is to help these young men identify their interests so that they are on a path to forming college and/or career plans. I am currently a student in the Master's of Forensic Psychology program at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. I also work part-time as an ABA therapist, teaching kids with behavior and learning differences the skills they need to grow. Please let me know if you are interested in my tutoring services. Thanks
