About Skylar

Hi! I am Skylar and I am very experienced with the child care world. I started working with children at the age of 15 in a summer camp program. These children were from ages 5-10. I planned activities, meal prepped, tutored, and many other things. I did this throughout high-school. At the age of 18, I ran an aftercare program where I did the same things but with a higher role filled with other responsibilities. This took place after my own school day, so I learned essential time management skills. At the age of 19, I worked in a daycare where I cared for children ages 2 months to 5 years. Here, I dealt with greater responsibilities as the children were much younger. At my college, Penn State University, I work at a daycare with children of the same ages. I am CPR certified and have all my clearances, as well as first aid, fire safety, and mandated reporter training completed. I'd describe my personality as outgoing, friendly, and responsible.
