About Skylar

Hello, my name is Skylar L, let me introduce myself! I am a Steamboat native and am living back at home after graduating college last May. I am looking to get out of the restaurant industry this spring and am hopeful for a nannying or consistent babysitting gig :) I love kids and feel that I connect with them well. I started babysitting in 8th grade and have handled children anywhere from 6 months to 15 years old. For 4 summers I was a camp counselor in Maine where I was responsible for 20-30 campers (ages 7-14) daily. I would describe my babysitting style as kind, patient and fun; and realize kids might need extra structure these days (online school, less available after school services, etc.) and am willing to adapt to any families situation. I am also an experienced skier and would love to keep the kids active in any capacity!
