About Skylar

My name is Skylar and I am a recent graduate of Calvin University. I have a strong love for people's stories, and find great joy from gaining knowledge about the past from senior citizens. I gained a deep respect for those Ho care for senior citizens in the five years leading up to my grandmother's death in 2021, where she was declining from dementia and leukemia. In this time, I intermittently helped care for my grandma and gained a deeper understanding of the emotional toll loss of independence and abilities can have on the elderly. I hope to offer companionship and assistance with a smile to those I serve.
