About Skylar

I'm really outgoing, caring, soft hearted. I have always loved taking care of others, I worked at a disability & behavioral nursing home for 4 years, I left to move up in my healthcare career, I am currently a phlebotomist at OSF hospital. At the home, I assisted residents with their everyday needs, bathing, feeding, changing, walking, activities, even took them to appointments & hospital visits. I loved it so much, made a lot of bonds & connections. Being there for them when sometimes they didn't have anyone. Even though I love what I do now, I will always have love & a passion for caregiving. In my spare time, I like to hang out with my family, & my dog. I also take the time to hangout with my friends when we all have the time too. One thing you should know about me is I care a lot, as a lot of people would say, however my sisters also went into healthcare & being around them, made me so passionate about caregiving. I advocate for others when they can't.
