About Skylar

As a natural caregiver, I've always had a passion for fostering children's growth and development. With over 7 years of experience, I prioritize providing families with individualized child care plans. I am a senior biology major at University with Chemistry and Pre-medicine minors. I am also CPR certified with first aid training. I have worked with children since the age of 13. I was a camp counselor and instructor all year from 13-18 and have worked with Camp Good Days as a counselor from ages 15-21. My patient and calm nature, combined with my creativity and imagination, allows me to connect with children on a deeper level. I believe in open and honest communication with parents and ensure that they are regularly updated about their child's day and any issues that may arise. When it comes to enforcing household rules, I firmly believe in following the parents' lead and respecting their parenting style
