About Skyla

Hi I'm Skyla! I'm currently a college student at University of Oregon working towards a bachelor's degree in environmental studies along with a minor in music and global studies. I hope to uplift and empower younger students to excel and learn to appreciate all subjects, even if they're not particularly fond of them at first. I love music and science, but find specific interests in nearly all subjects I've had the pleasure of learning. I've always loved learning and have found it to be a thing I constantly prioritize in my day-to-day life, whether that's reading a new book about an interesting topic or having the patience to Google a question that pops into mind. Being surrounded by a multitude of different perspectives, I've shaped the way I view learning and life thanks to the stupendous list of teachers I've had to guide me, and I hope to instill that same inspiration and hunger for education into other students that I help.
