About Skye

I've been a teacher for five years, spending three of those years in kindergarten, one year in second grade, and another in third grade. Teaching has truly shaped who I am, and I've learned so much from every child I've had the privilege of working with. I'm currently pursuing my Master's in Philosophy at NYU and also working toward my Master's in Childhood and Special Education. Philosophy and empathy are such important parts of my life. They guide how I see the world and approach education. I care deeply about helping children not only close learning gaps but also gain the tools they need to think critically and feel confident in themselves. My hope is to support and empower as many students as I can, so they can thrive both in and out of the classroom.
