About Skye

I'd describe my personality as friendly, thoughtful, and hardworking. I like tutoring because I love teaching kids new things. Their endless curiosity always inspires me. I'm looking for a job that is consistent and routine, where I can build and nurture a trusting relationship with you and your child. This allows me to learn how I can best provide the support I'm here for. I started tutoring when I skipped high school and entered college at 14. I worked at the University Writing Center, and I tutored my college peers until I graduated in 2024. I've switched to tutoring younger students because of how motivated they are to learn. Whether or not they are interested in school, I can always find a way to pique a child's curiosity. Kids love learning fun facts about the world around them, and I can channel their intrigue to develop beneficial study skills and a valuable base of knowledge. In my spare time, I like to cook, scuba dive, visit museums, and spend time with my friends.
