About Siona

I am very passionate about my work with children. I am currently employed as a Montessori teacher for a 1-year-old classroom. I believe that the Montessori philosophy of children going at the own pace and experiencing their environment in their own way is so impactful on early education. Children should feel empowered and independent, while given the guidance and encouragement from the sidelines as they try again and again. I am proud to be that cheerleader for them! I believe children are capable, smart, and deserving of respect and dignity. I believe in going outside in all seasons (when it is a safe temperature and with appropriate gear) and experiencing the natural world by learning hands on. I also love making art with children.
