About Siobhan

Hello :) My name is Siobhan. I am a recent college graduate and received my BA in Psychology. My goals include continuing my education to obtain a MA in Counseling and ultimately pursuing a career as a child psychologist. I am also a certified crisis counselor with a crisis text line organization. My work with them includes talking adolescents down from a state of emotional intensity, serving as support, and ensuring their safety. I have been teaching yoga for 5 years. I've had the pleasure of teaching children aged 3-18, including those with intellectual and developmental disabilities. I always share the practice of yoga with the children I babysit. I've found that it is an engaging activity that they enjoy, with long-lasting benefits. I am a compassionate young woman that takes the time that I spend with children seriously. I believe in the importance of listening, encouraging, and empowering our youth.
