About Simon

Formerly licensed for Elementary School in Texas and Massachusetts to teach all curriculum content to grades 1 through 6 and Middle School math. I earned Sheltered English Immersion certification. Having relocated from Massachusetts in 2015, I taught 5th grade Math and Social Science in Texas and then became a Learning Assistant and a tutor. At any given time, I am tutoring up to 10 grade school students. Teaching is a second career for me.

I can’t say enough great things about Mr C. When he started working with my son who’s dyslexic, he could barely read or write and struggled with all academics. The difference he has made can’t even be put into words. He’s reading well now and looks forward to learning. Mr. C is patient and truly one of a kind! We cannot thank him enough.
