I'm a self-employed Army veteran, published author and social media consultant who also happens to be a full-time mom. I've always grown up with a family pet. I was considered the family "animal whisperer," training the new additions to my extended family and even friends all through college. I love animals and so does my curious, homeschooled fourth-grader. As a full-time WFH entrepreneur and homeschooling mom, housesitting is a wonderful way to expose my 9-year-old mini-Doolittle, Laila. There's always plenty of extra hugs & snuggles to go around. Housesitting provides both exploration and adventure for her young imagination. My mother is a 5-star global housesitter so you could say, it's a family affair.
