Hi my name is Silvana & I fell into this line of work accidentally & could not be more blessed that I did. I went to go volunteer at an assisted living home & instead of giving me the volunteer application, they gave me an employment application. After working there for 3 years part time, I just could not bare to see any longer how some people take care of the elderly. A resident's family member asked if I would work privately. That was over 8 years ago. To this day the joy I receive from helping my clients is immense. My style of care is led by compassion, faith & a very positive attitude. I am very dedicated in helping my clients maintain their highest level of independent living to their capabilities. Some of my strengths are the ability to connect/adapt to my clients & their needs, cooking (my parents come from Italy & both loved to cook), very sociable & an organizer to name a few.
