About Silvana

Hello! I have over 12 years experience tutoring and teaching children and adults of all ages Spanish, Art, Language Arts and Academic Subjects. I am a native Spanish Speaker and have worked in several settings including special education, private schools, homeschooling pods and learning centers. I currently tutor k-12 and adult Spanish, and k-12 academic subjects. I also teach Spanish 2x a week at a private elementary school. I attended La Sorbonne University in Paris, France where I studied French and Parsons School of Art in New York where I studied Fine Arts and Liberal Arts. I've always had a passion for foreign languages, academic subjects, art and literature. I have certificates in Yoga and Art Therapy and find the techniques learned helpful for our daily lives. In my spare time I bake, hike, spend time with my children and pets. I am active, responsible, creative and engaging. I look forward to hearing from you!
