I'm the eldest sister in my family so helping out with my younger sister is where I'd say my childcare began! The college I went to was very supportive of students who had children, I signed up through their program and was match with a mom and daughter that I babysat for about 2 years. My official job in college was gymnastics coach at a rec program called spirit gymnastics in Saint Paul, Minnesota. Working with kids from ages 3-18. I worked there for about 5 years. I think I want to foster kids one day. Though I have baby fever, I don't plan to have my own kids. But I have a safe home and resources and love to give. I know there are a lot of kids out there who need a safe space.
