About Sierra

Hi, my name is Sierra. I have previously worked as a certified nursing assistant through an agency. I gained great diverse experience as I worked at multiple kinds of facilities. I have worked in assisted living, long term care, and group homes. I have worked with individuals and seniors that have memory loss, dementia, Alzheimer's, developmental delays or disabilities, and physical limitations. I have completed two years of nursing school through University of Minnesota Rochester, and took time off to work on my health. I have been working at an oncology clinic for over a year as a clinical assistant. Aside from clinical tasks, the role of a clinical assistant has taught me how to speak to and care for individuals going through cancer and/or hematology disorders. One thing you should know about me is I am a type 1 diabetic. There will be situations where I will need to take a few minutes to manage my blood sugar to ensure I can give the best care to you, your friend, or loved one.
