About Sierra

Hi, My name is Sierra and I am moving to New York and taking a break from teaching special education. I have worked in the field for the past seven years and I have been working with kids for over a decade in home as well as a full-time babysitter. I have been a special education teacher for the past two and a half years and before that I was a paraprofessional in a range of special education classes between preschool and high school, but I would typically work with the littles. I am interested in working with the children at an age and cognitively appropriate level and bringing them to explore the city including parks, museums and libraries. One of my favorite parts about working in education was getting to work with and advocate for the families. I can't wait to find a family to work with in New York!
