About Sierra

I have 8 years of experience as an elementary school teacher with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. I taught 2nd grade for many of those years, and loved being able to see my students blossom in their learning. I am currently completing my Masters of Education in Instructional Design, and am working as a substitute teacher for a School District. During my time substitute teaching, I have cherished my time teaching and meeting students at a variety of schools. I have both my Washington Teaching license and a Washington Substitute Teaching license. I am tech-savvy and can tutor online or in-person. I offer tutoring services for K-5 students in math, writing, and reading (including phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension). Prior to becoming a teacher, I worked as a nanny and babysitter for several families with children from the ages of 6 months to 10 years old. I look forward to meeting your family!
