About Sierra

Working with kids has been a lifelong passion of mine, to the point that I have made a career of helping them with their first steps (and coo's) into personhood. I always do my best to find a good balance when working with kids, giving then hugs when they need comfort, but I also encouraging autonomy and showing them how they can do things themselves, and showing that we all make mistakes but it's important that we try again, to build skills. I love when parents get engaged with ASL and use it in their personal time with their child(ren), because having everyone understand each other just makes kids more confident in their language development which is super gratifying when they can communicate their needs effectively.
