About Siena

I'd describe my personality as empathetic, warm, and reliable. I like working with kids because they're some of the sweetest, most insightful, fun people you meet! I love nurturing their interests and passions and teaching them what I can. I started working with kids through babysitting jobs as a teenager, primarily a family with a 5-year-old girl and a 1-year-old girl + tutoring and babysitting an 8-year-old girl, all in my neighborhood in Michigan. I went on to work as a classroom assistant to a second grade classroom at my old elementary school, and in college, I taught poetry workshops in Providence elementary schools and middle schools as an artist-in-residence. Since moving to NYC in July 2023, I've been looking to continue working in childcare as it's something I'm both passionate about and proficient at. I am a writer who works in fashion. Outside of writing and PR work, I love reading, vintage shopping, and going to the movies.
