I understand that parenting opinions differ, so I always try to understand how the parent would their child or children to be cared for so the child has stability. I've always had a deep love for children. So I want whoever I'm caring for to not only view me as an authority figure but as a friend. I also have experience with adults and children that have Down syndrome. My aunt who is 54 years old has Down syndrome and I can honestly say she's one of my best friends.
