Hi! I am a stay at home Mom who is looking to care for other children out of my home in Griffith, Indiana. I am a DIY inspired Mother who loves to have fun and learn through the outside world and through educational toys!

Shyla watched my 1 year old daughter 2-3x a week this Summer while I was living in the area temporarily. She is so wonderful, welcoming, reliable, and treated my daughter as her own. She was always so flexible on days and times and willing to help with my hectic schedule. I cannot recommend her enough!! We’ll miss seeing her!🙂

A blessing in disguise. Looking for childcare is so scary especially for your first child. Fast forward two years later, she not only cared about my son, but her entire family did. Unfortunately, we moved but if it wasn’t for that, we would still be going to her. She is the best communicator, reliable, friendly, and just a god send. She is a diamond in the rough. 

Words cannot describe what Shyla has meant to our family. The only reason she is not sitting for us anymore is because we are moving out of state- I wish I could take her with me! She treats my children like her own, and in turn she has become part of our family. She is dependable, trustworthy and just a kindhearted person.

Shyla cared for my son in our home 2 days a week and she did a great job! My son is behind in speech and she always showed interest in reinforcing the strategies we implement in his speech therapy sessions. She encouraged him to use words to communicate verbally than allowing him to solely rely on non-verbal communication. She communicated well with me, especially when she was experiencing a family emergency, and could not make it one day.  Without hesitation, I would recommend Shyla to care for another child.  Should the need arise, we would absolutely hire Shyla again!

Shyla is one of the best sitters you will find. She treats any child like her own and is very dependable. 

Shyla is my sister in law and she is awesome with kids! I just recently had a son who is now 3 months old and I had her watching him for me sometimes. Being a new mom or a Mom in general, were always concerned about our kids well being; an even if Shyla wasn't family I would still trust her completely with my son. She always keeps me updated throughout the day and even sends me pictures of my little guy without me even having to ask! Communication is something she is great at and you'll never have to worry. She is the best and you'd be super lucky to have her as a sitter! Your kids will be in good hands! 

Kid caring, trustworthy. Left her with my baby boy and he was in great hands. Sad when she moved to Indiana had to find a new sitter. Would be happy to share any further info about Shyla.
