After raising my own two kids, I realized that nothing for me is as inspiring as working with children. After my kids went to college, I decided to follow my passion as a nanny and I spent three years raising two wonderful boys, a 6-month-old and a 3-year-old. Besides the basic responsibilities of a babysitter, I helped them with letters and numbers, outdoor activities, and occasionally preparing meals. After three years, the kids went to daycare and I started working with another family I found through care. com with twins for almost a year until they moved to Florida. For the next 1. 5 years, I took care of a beautiful baby girl until her family moved away. I then worked with a wonderful family where I helped raise their son for 5 years (since he was 2. 5 months old). Finally, I took care of an adorable 3-month-old for the last 9 months until parents' schedule changed. Please feel free to ask for references. We’ve been lucky to have Shohreh as our nanny for the last 2 years. She’s been part of our family, and our daughter loves her. Shohreh took care of our daughter from a newborn to 2 years old, taking care of bottles, solid feedings, meal prep, laundry, dishes, playtime, books, songs, dancing and outdoor time almost every day. She taught us a lot as first time parents and taught our daughter too. She learned a lot of words, books, games, how to take garbage to the trash can, helped her feed herself, and too many other things to list. Shohreh loves our daughter as if she were family, is reliable, extremely nice, and great to have in the house. Anybody that has worked with Shohreh in the past will tell you the same, and you’d be lucky to have her join your family.
