I have worked with a young adult with Cerebral Palsy, where I had to bathe, feed, prepare meals, change diapers, transfer and reposition him. He could talk some and we laughed, listened to music, sung songs, and I read to him. I cared for a child with Autism, who played in the toilet, ate flowers, dirt, etc. I helped him calm down by getting him interested in things and working his plan of care. I have also worked with Alzheimer, Dementia, Cancer patients and other Special Need Individuals.
