Hi there! My name is Shira and I'm from Saint Louis, Mo. I have a background in Marketing and Insurance but I'm currently taking a break from the corporate world. While I take some time to decide on a new career path I want to spend it doing something that brings me lots of joy which is taking care of children. I've been looking after kids for most of my life. I come from a large family, I am one of 11 siblings and now I am an aunt of 20 nieces and nephews. I started babysitting for families at the age of 12. I also worked as a live in nanny for several years for my sister and her 3 boys. I have a really special connection with children because I enjoy playing with kids the way they like to play. While of course I'm here to keep your kids safe and healthy, I also like to get down and play with them on their level. I love how children bring out my silly side :)

Shira was awesome. Arrived on time, immediately connected with our 3 girls by playing outside and coming up with silly games. The majority of her time with our girls playing and laughing instead of putting them in front of the TV. She was great!
