My brother grew up with special needs. It has always have a special place in my heart because of him. My mother struggled with all 5 of us including him. It takes a strong hearted person to have been threw it to understand the needs for your family. I am very patient, understanding, loving and trustworthy. I have been a CNA for 14+ years. I currently hold a BLS/CPR certification. I have worked with behavioral health/mental illness, ADHD, Cerebral Palsy, speech impairment, dyslexia, Autism Spectrum and etc. As you can see I have wide range of experience. Shimika was a huge asset to our family, providing care to a family member with Lewy Body Dementia until he passed. She was positive and compassionate and had a natural ability to "read the room" knowing the best time to assist and the best time to stand by. She was both dependable and flexible, accommodating schedule changes with grace. She is a skilled caregiver and an excellent communicator and a welcome addition to our home.
