About Shianne

I have loved working in childcare since before I knew it was work. As the oldest sister of 6 kids, the youngest of which is currently 5, I have always been delighted to spend time with the children in my life. As a nanny, I get the opportunity to see so many children flourish and grow into wonderful people. I get to act as a supporter, teacher, and entertainer while building personal relationships with the entire family. I aim to create a safe, curious, and creative environment with every kid I work with. I approach difficult situations with patience and an attempt to understand. I strive to use gentle parenting methods, like talking through our emotions and actions to encourage group-created solutions. In my own free time, I really enjoy reading, playing board games and video games, and spending quality time with friends and family.
