About Shian

My name is Shian and I am a friendly, caring and creative 21-year-old. My role as a caregiver first began when I became the oldest of 5. Being a big sister has allowed me to appreciate taking care of kids. My first employment with kids was during my sophomore year of high school while working with SYEP. My most recent job with kids was at my local YMCA. During both jobs I've enjoyed working with kids of various ages while facilitating engaging activities and ensuring their safety always! My focus is on giving your child a safe, routine-focused, and creative space to learn and grow into a wonderful person. I love doing seasonal crafts, baking, pretend play, encouraging independent time, and special weekly outings when appropriate. I'm firm but kind, and will work with you on any challenges your child may come to. During my free time I love to take dance and yoga classes, hang out in nature, and read. I also love the arts and traveling! I look forward to meeting you!
