About Sheryl

I have sat with seniors who have needed assistance with showering, cooking, changing clothes, and light cleaning. One of my clients had a dislocated shoulder and needed assistance with showering, changing clothes and lifting. Another client had Alzheimer's and loved to sit on the porch and talk. He needed help with getting dressed and bandages being changed where he had fell. I made sure that he didn't walk away and get lost or take medications he shouldn't and mainly kept him safe. Another client had recently had open heart surgery and needed help around the house and with errands. I truly enjoyed working with them all. Some were more challenging than others but still enjoyable. I sit and talk with them, change bandages if needed, fix or heat up their meals, shower them and put on clean clothes or run errands for them. I enjoy talking with and caring for others. I am a Teacher Assistant during the day for a local elementary school and would like an opportunity to work with seniors in need of assistance in the evenings.
