Every parent knows that there is no-one quite like mom and dad, however, my desire is to provide love and care that comes as close as possible. I have spent the past 21 years caring for my children, homeschooling and teaching online the past 5 years. My babies are grown, but I don't want to be done shaping the lives of youngsters! I am an education major with a special passion for caring for children in the earliest stages of their development. Children are learning even before they are born, therefore their caregivers are teachers from the start! The first few years are so important as your child develops into an amazing, unique little person. My favorite quote is "The art of teaching is the art of assisting discovery." I would thoroughly enjoy caring for your little one(s) and helping them discover the world around them. I may not be mom and dad, but my goal is always to be the next best thing!

Sherri was an absolute joy to work with. She cared for our infant daughter for a little under a year, starting when our daughter was 5 months old! Sherri is dependable, friendly and very supportive of child development. She is intentional in her care and I often saw her singing and reading to our daughter. I can’t recommend her enough!
