On my spare time, I would take her to play dates and meet other children with disabilities, and I would interacts and connect with other parents there. I have created great relationships with many of the children who face autism as well and their parents that I have met through the Autism Society of the San Francisco Bay Area. This creates a warm place in my heart having a safe and open environment where children who have special needs can go to a place where they feel like they belong.
