Retired Elementary Teacher available for tutoring. I have over 30 years teaching k-5 and testing prep for 3-5th grades. I am a caring teacher who understands the patience needed for additional time learning the content but also providing the rigor your child will need to be successful. I'd describe my personality as caring, funny, energetic I like tutoring because it allows me opportunity to meets the needs of a child while also creating a personal relationship. I'm looking for a job that can be flexible but also provide ongoing weekly opportunities to build a trusting relationship and also build the foundation/support for success. I started tutoring when I recently retired from the County Schools. In my spare time, I like to read and spend time at the beach One thing you should know about me is I am reliable and can easily communicate. My skills include patience, knowing the NC state curriculum, and can come prepared with materials.
