I grew up in the Midwest on a dairy farm in a small town. My husband and I moved to California in the 1970s. We had one child. I worked for a major insurance company for 40 plus years in a management position. After retiring my daughter divorced and she and her son moved in with me and my husband. I started to take care of my 2-year-old grandson while our daughter worked. Taking care of our grandson was such a joy for both of us. My husband passed 3 years ago. My daughter and my now 13-year-old grandson still live with me. We also have 2 cats and a dog. I'm healthy and active, I do Pilates 3 times a week and walk.
