About Sherri

Hello. My name is Sherri . I am known by my grandchildren and neighborhood children as "Grandma Honey". I have experience raising 5 children, and very involved with my 12 grandchildren who range from newborn to 15 years of age. I belong to a large family with 39 nieces and nephews. Many of which I have sat for since I was 12 years old. I have 3 years of experience Working with special needs children as a bus aide for the Wayne Westland school systems. Autistic, physical impairment , temperament impaired were some of their specific needs. I found this work very rewarding. I also have experience as a Summer daycare camp host. My campers ages ranged anywhere from six months to 11 years. I organized activities and served lunches as well as field trips during these camps. I am 68years young and active for my age. I enjoy painting furniture, sewing, kayaking, reading and museums. I am organized, a good multitasker, willing to help with virtual schooling, and carpooling.
