About Sherrie
As a teacher I feel confident in helping your child at all levels of work (except maybe advanced physics). I quit teaching because I enjoy teaching one on one much more! Most recently I taught Chemistry and physical science, but math, middle school science, and English are all under my belt as well. ACT or general test prep is also a strong suit. Time management, study skills, and encouraging the love of learning are all included in my skill set as well :)

Sherrie has been tutoring our home-schooled son for nearly 6 months. At the beginning, she quickly identified his strengths and problem areas. Since then they've been working to ensure he is meeting and/or exceeding grade standards. Ms. Sherrie has never missed a scheduled day or ran late. We are an immuno-compromised household, and Ms. Sherrie was very understanding (distance learning for a few weeks, and masks now) during the pandemic. We plan to continue our relationship with Ms. Sherrie and recommend her to those families looking for an engaged tutor.
