I have worked in a variety of different care-giving positions for over 20 years. I have worked as a nanny, a home health aid, with elderly and with individuals with developmental disabilities. Before moving to Florida, I lived in Pennsylvania and cared for two gentlemen in their 60's in my home. One with developmental disabilities he was non-verbal with autism who needed total care (feeding, bathing, medication management etc) whom I cared for for 13 years, the other for 9 years who was higher functioning with mental retardation and mental health diagnosis. For the last 4 years I have been a live-in caregiver for an elderly woman with paralysis and Alzheimer's, doing everything that she needed me to do. I truly love caring for and helping people. I am honest, dependable, compassionate, and treat the individuals I care for with dignity and respect. I hope I am lucky enough to care for you or your loved one.
