About Sheri

I started working with children after a 20-year company career and my own children left the nest. My first job was with a Unified School District as a teachers aide caring for grammar school children than special needs children. While I was there, I took training courses in early childhood development and special needs children. I left after 4 years to help my nephews family that had welcomed twin baby boys. I cared for the boys in my home for six years until they started kindergarten. Since then I have worked for 5 other families caring for children ranging from newborn to 11 years old. Two of the families I worked for at the same time as a nanny share. My responsibilities in these homes have been primarily childcare but I also kept up the households, grocery shopping, ran errands, and prepared meals. I am coming up on 15 years of experience and truly love working with children, singing, playing, and watching their development. There is just something magical about watching them.
