About Shendell

I've been helping children grow and develop their skills for 15 years. My desire to make a positive impact on children's lives and support families led me to this profession. I'm patient, calm, creative, imaginative, friendly, and approachable. Parents can expect regular updates from me about their child's day, either through verbal communication at pick-up, a phone call, or a text message. I'm comfortable enforcing household rules and enjoy playing a variety of games with children, including outdoor sports, board games, and educational games. With my early childhood development coursework, I can provide care for up to two children, ranging from infants to preteens. I also speak Spanish. In my free time, I enjoy being outdoors exploring nature. I have a car, am comfortable with pets, and am willing to help with light cooking, meal preparation, and light housekeeping.
