About Shelsey

I have gained four years of experience in caring for children. This experience comes from looking after my nieces and nephew, who ranged in age from newborn to 16 years old. Due to my excellent experience, my siblings suggested that I babysit for others, like their friends or colleagues where I gained more experience. I enjoy helping families and find it very fulfilling to make a safe and caring space where children can grow happily. I'm patient, calm, and have a friendly and approachable demeanor, which helps me connect with everyone to build strong relationships. I think it's important to talk openly with parents. I give written reports each day, talk at pickup time, and send updates through texts or calls. I'm sure I can uphold house rules and keep the kids safe and behaving well. I like activities like going for walks, playing outdoor sports, doing crafts and projects, playing board games, and educational games. I'm in school for Radiation Therapy where I gained CPR training.
