I have been a nanny for a 17-year-old boy with developmental disabilities for over a year. He cannot speak and is in diapers. As well as a stomach tube that I am required to change the gauze regularly. I have also worked with children with autism, in the past. Although I love my current job as a nanny I am moving away for higher education, but I would love to continue earning experience in this line of work while I get my teaching degree!
