About Shelly

Hi I'm Shelly! So nice to meet you! I have been working with children for as long as I can remember. It started with babysitting my younger sister, then the church nursery, and then neighborhood families for date night. In college my focus switched to teaching and animal training. I worked with dolphins and sea lions at the local aquarium and tutored for the math department. I graduated from SDSM&T in 1996 with a BS in Interdisciplinary Sciences. Then I received my teaching certificate for High School Math from UNLV. I taught for 5 years before having my children and staying home with them. I have continued to tutor on and off in between my business and family obligations. I am currently starting another part time business, Reignite Your Healing. In my free time I love walking on the beach next to the ocean, floating on a paddle board at the lake, studying scripture and learning about anything related to health and wellness!
