About Shell

I've loved animals ever since I was a child. I grew up owning and was responsible for the care of ponies, goats, cats, birds, dogs, rabbits, and horses. I learned early on that they all have their own amazing personalities. My goat "Susie" was one of my favorite pets. I even taught her to walk on a leash. I spent hours and hours either riding, grooming or just hanging out with them. Best memories! I'm always the adult hanging out in the petting zoo for as long as I can. :) Especially now that we live in town. I've always had animals. Life doesn't feel the same without them. We currently have an 86 lb "Olde"- Old English/Mastiff. He's my "fur baby". Dozer is 3. Unfortunately, we said goodbye to our beloved Golden "Annie" 3 years ago because of cancer. She lived joyfully to 13. All livestock I gave my own vaccines, wormer, medications, bathed, fed, clippered, and watered. I'm very comfortable around any size dog. Big or small. For years we've swapped "pet sitting" with neighbors and friends. From horses to hamsters. Most recently our neighbors dog. I have a very flexible schedule. I can stay overnight too. I've never asked for money because we were friends or neighbors.
