I am a care giver that provides support and assistance with compassion going above and beyond to fully care for the needs due to age, disability, illness and or other circumstances. I am dealing with sometimes the end of ones lifes nervousness as to be expected, allowing them to go out with dignity and treating them with grace. I help a long side the family to coordinate the best plan of care their family member needs. I can assist in a person's own home with activities such as personal care, meal prep and cleaning. I assist in taking them to doctor appointments, grocery store and running errands. I have experience in building teams to accommodate a single person or couples that need 24 seven help. I have experience in scheduling the PT/OT and nurses to come into the home. I am thankful to have had the opportunities to have cared for my families I have taken care of, you see they always thank me but the truth is I get more out of taking care of them.

Shelley is an amazing person overall; kind, compassionate, intelligent, and loyal. My late Mom's OT suggested Shelley when I was looking for a caregiver for my mom, who had dementia. Shelley treated my mom as well and with as much care as she would have treated her own mom. When Mom went to Memory Care, I didn't think I needed a private caregiver because I lived nearby and saw her regularly. I had to move from FL to NY 3 months ago, and Shelley agreed to "visit" Mom 4 days a week. She was invaluable. She kept Mom company, made sure that Mom had everything that she needed, took Mom outdoors on nice days, made sure that the staff were doing their jobs properly, that Mom was always comfortable, clean, that her room was always clean. She basically took my place, and did a fantastic job. She spoke up to staff when appropriate and kept me informed. She set up Facetime calls so me and my mom could talk. Mom broke her hip recently, and Shelley is the one who realized something was wrong and had the staff call 911. She went to the hospital with Mom and kept up with Mom when she went to Hospice House until she passed away. This is a long review, however, as you can see, it is impossible to convey how wonderful Shelley is in a few sentences.
